Christians serve!

That's a fundamental principle of our faith. Following Jesus is a seven days a week job, not a Sundays-only hobby!

Christ taught us to love and help everyone we meet, whatever their background, whatever their problem.

That's why we believe in the need to roll up our sleeves and get to work; helping folk locally, nationally and globally.

We run a number of schemes to assist people in the local community, offering practical support, guidance and friendship. Click on the Caring in the Community link to find out more about this work and to request help if you have a problem.

We are also deeply aware of the enormous needs that exist around the World: Every day brings news of hunger, poverty, disease, conflict, injustice and environmental catastrophe. It's easy to become almost immune to the horrific images and statistics that face us whenever we open the pages of a newspaper or turn on the television.

But as Christians we have a duty to care and a calling to help.

Sometimes our efforts appear to be mere 'drops in the ocean.' But the ocean is made of drops...and that is why we actively support a number of projects in other countries.
