Home Groups

What is a home group?

A group of like-minded, supportive people who meet regularly - usually in someone's home.

How often do they meet?

Usually every 1-2 weeks - some during term-time only. Most meetings last around 90 minutes; some occur during the day, whilst others happen in the evenings.

What's the point?

Fellowship, a social gathering and an opportunity to discuss matters of faith without feeling silly or self-conscious- it's often good to know that issues which concern you are also burning in the minds of others.

Home groups provide a safe and friendly place to ask questions and air ideas....

Sounds serious!

Sure, there are often important issues to discuss- but we also share a lot of fun and friendship.

But I don't know enough...

Who does? Rest assured, there is no membership qualification. After all, each of us is on the same journey of discovery...

Honestly, I'm too busy at the moment!

Come and go as you please - it's good to see people, but we all understand how full life can be...

I might be interested - what should I do now?

Why not ring Keith and Rosemrey Bancroft - they'll be happy to help you find a group where you'll immediately feel welcome and at home.
